There was one who followed

I was unaware of the take of a one who followed when Jesus was being taken into custody. Apparently he was nearly apprehended for following. I wonder who he was, whether one of the apostles or some other follower. (It might even have been someone who was simply following but the soldiers and servants of the priests didn’t want their proceedings observed.) That might explain why poster stayed afar off and denied knowing Jesus.
