Why did Alma share his conversion story with Helaman but not with Shiblon when he was speaking to each of them? If one were righteous and the other not it would make more sense but as both were righteous I wonder why the difference in teaching on that story. I also wonder why Alma went into such detail here with Helaman since I expect Helaman had heard the experience before? Were these differences based on questions that these two sons had which weren’t recorded?
I notice that Alma’s motivation was wasn’t repayment for what had been forgiven but rather a desire to share with his fellow sons and daughters of God.
