Each person comes to understand life and its components through the lens of their personal experiences and circumstances. We speak from our own unique positions and whatever the topics are subjective in any way (even the ones we expect to be objective) our personal understanding colors or speech while the personal understanding of our listeners colors their interpretation of what we say. Only through the Spirit can we as speakers say things that our listeners will interpret in a way that is close to what we expected when we spoke and only through the Spirit can we as hearers gain an accurate understanding of what the speakers intended to convey.
