The wickedness of nourishing was so severe by the time it was noticed that his people were willing to slay their countrymen rather than admit to being wrong and accepting the consequences. That great wickedness grew amidsta period of righteousness and peace asking the Nephites. Wickedness can grow in good soil as well as bad soil.
