Massive destruction

I would imagine that the destruction of the Nephites was on such a massive scale that archeologists have found out will find evidence of it, even if they don’t make a connection to this story. It might also be preserved in oral tradition. The one wrinkle is that the destruction of the Jaredites was also massive so their might be two archeological finds that we aren’t capable of determining which was which.
