Mormon writes a message that should comfort the remnant of the seed of Lehi – their trials with the imaging gentiles were known in andante but the Lord has not forgotten His covenant with them. To the gentiles Mormon offers a timely warning – things may be good now but if they don’t repent all their blessings can be taken and restored to the children of the first covenant.
