I missed a day yesterday so let me catch up on the goings on of Sunday. Toward the end of a chaotic Sunday morning I lost my temper and hit Isaac so he left before church started. I figured he would make his way to church eventually just to get out of the rain. Instead he found his way to the VonNeiderhausern’s house and end up spending the day there. Rachel texted me after they saw him there and had my blessing to allow him to stay with them and have a reset. When he finally came home after dinner he was in very good spirits with a note/card for Mom.
Laura and I met with President Jackson to talk about our situation. He looked at it as both a Stake President and as a doctor. We all agreed that there needs to be greater coordination between various caregivers such as the psychologist and the psychiatrist but Laura was upset by the time we left because he questioned the timeline of being out of the house for months. Later in the day she was better able to take it all in stride. After her visit with Savannah (first time Savannah has wanted to visit), Laura came home for a while and caught a vision of how our home and family could be drastically altered for the better by her working. It was a major shift in perspective.
Today Stephanie came for a trial day and halfway through the day we offered her the job. She isn’t available tomorrow but after other nannies fell through to cover for her Misty Zeeman said that she could help if I can get people to school. It’s going to be another long day.
I also got to Mom’s house and removed the last of Laura’s things.
