Getting the lasting support

We got Laura’s car back from the shop today but have to hope that it is really fixed. They didn’t replace the solenoid because they could only get it as part of a larger $900 part which didn’t seem worth it unless it was really consistently dead (which it hasn’t been yet). After a long night of driving around a lot I got the kids on the bedtime path and went to see Laura. We ended up having a long and productive session of exploring her inability to figure out how to be happy. In the process she again brought up the pattern of people rushing to help in a crisis and then ceasing their follow-up once the crisis looks more like normal. I need to see what I can do to ensure that Laura had a steady stream of social support. I also think I should talk to Bishop about whether anything can be done to curb that tendency to ta about helping more then helping
