Staying overnight worked. I woke up to my alarm in the morning and got home to get everyone up. We even got to church on time. Laura and I agreed that the bed was “cozy” and it would have been easier to sleep in a large bed but it was sure nice to spend a night not apart.
The kids and I got to enjoy lunch with Carol Owens. I was able to keep the kids mostly in line and I enjoyed talking with Carol. We bring a spark of chaos to her very ordered life. As Alyssa put it which sparked the idea for Carol, “our house is too full and your house (Carol’s) is too empty.”
Today’s lesson, lesson 10 in the Doctrine & Covenants manual, is very good, good discussion about supporting spouses and overcoming challenges together.
