I finally removed the old bed foundation/closet boxes that have been filling my room and got the clothing rod installed in the new armoire so now all my clothes are hung in they piece. The rest of my room is trashed with all the stuff that had been hiding in there but I can work on that in the coming days.
Laura and I talked about what our summer goals would look like in action. Mainly it looks like Savannah and Mariah will be expected to devote at least 15 minutes of 1-on-1 time with each of the youngest kids each day. I’m not sure what Laura will end up doing with regard to spending time but I will plan to spend that kind of time twice a week with each of the kids. I can use that one on one time with Savannah and Mariah to get a report on their assignment. The other thing it looks like it’s summed up as “start clean, end clean.” The most conspicuous evidence of that being that we will clean the house each morning before/after breakfast (meaning fish at of we don’t finish before) and also clean each evening like we do now (which should make the morning clean very simple).
