The amount of work we put in today was further proof that Laura coming home yesterday wasn’t truly an option. I got all of Alyssa’s stuff out of her room and set up the table distress plus I laid carpet pad in the downstairs hallway that had been bare concrete and Savannah painted the kids dressers so they Isaac would have a place to put his clothes. After all that I spent hours helping Laura clean her apartment. We finished not long before 6:00 then we went to dinner and watched Wonder Woman before actually coming home.
It was a long day and we have plenty of work here but we made that important change – after 5 months less a day.
