Half the story

I just realized that when Helaman said that the prisoners were in the land of Nephi if they were still alive he was speaking 4 years later and yet he still didn’t know that Moroni had freed all the Nephites prisoners a couple of years earlier. I don’t know for sure but I realized that it is possible that these men Helaman was referring to were among those that Moroni had saved

It is a reminder that no matter who speaks or when they very rarely know more than half the story.
