Once again we are trying to bring the kids onboard to getting back to basics such as cleaning the house daily (not doing half jobs) and working with the younger kids rather than letting them loving in s bubble and raise themselves without oversight. I guess we just have to expect that the message will have to be repeated regularly (like every week).
I tried doing something fun by camping in the backyard only to have the kids decide to play games after bedtime and snap a pole in our brand new tent. Maybe this will help convince them that they can’t be perpetually reckless and indifferent to their surroundings.
