I woke up today determined to make progress on some of the projects that have been waiting all summer. I started by getting the entertainment center (which has been sitting at the top of our stairs for nearly two months) out of the house. I turned it into a new low-profile bunny hutch. By then Laura had told me that she wanted to use the day to clean out the garage. That had been on my list as well so we both worked on that and got the kids to help as needed. By late afternoon I was able to take a load to the dump and by evening Laura was able to put the Subaru in the garage – we haven’t had a car in the garage for nearly five years before today.
We even finished early enough for me to stop into Josh Harris’s wedding reception just before the kids bedtime. It’s was an amazing day.
