Inviting to come to Christ

I noticed a theme in conference taking about the priests being a vehicle to invite people to Christ. In Ether 12 ether is preaching and inviting people to come to Christ to avoid destruction and as Moroni ads his commentary he is inviting his readers to come to Christ.
