The fact that Sharem sought much opportunity to come to Jacob indicates that Jacob was making no effort to meet Sharem. The righteous have no interest in seeking confrontation even when they may be willing to engage where it is necessary. Also noticed how diligent share was said to be. Opponents of truth aren’t frequently lazy.
Jacob’s statement that he could not be shaken based on having seen angels deserves our attention. Jacob was not shaken but the fact of someone having heard the voice of angels or even having seen them does not guarantee that they cannot be shaken – see the three witnesses for evidence to the contrary.
