Mosiah 29:33

Mosiah was very open with his people on telling them the difficulties of a righteous king. Even good subjects could burden the soul of a righteous king as he worries and struggled for their safety and peace. this burden could not fAirly be placed on any one man but should be shared among all the people. He also reminded the people of how an inrifhteous king could burden an entire people as they worked to pay the heavy taxes he levied to support him in iniquity. An unroghteous king would also burden the people by encorafing them in being unrighteous whether by his example or by his outright approval. Mosiah reminded the people how abominable this was in the eyes of God.
