What was the impetus for Alma to diligently inquire concerning the state of the soul between death and the resurrection? Was it a question he had in his youth? Was he asking because if Corianton’s questions? Did he ask because of some confusion in the church? We may never know but why he was asking could reach us something of his understanding when he received the answer.
