A woman spoke today in the ward we visited and mentioned that we don’t see the front (eternal) side of the tapestry of our lives. I like that imagery.
I’m not sure what poem this woman was quoting but it speaks of a weaving where God sees the upper side but men see the back side. I’d like to develop that object lesson considering how rough a back side can look on a very beautiful tapestry.
I like what another brother said about the way that Christ was careful to receive the service that others were willing to give Him. That was a blessing to him, but also to them. The same is true when we refuse to allow others to serve us.
