Nephi’s introduction

I’ve always found it interesting that Nephi wow an introduction to the first book of Nephi but no other book in the Book of Mormon has such an introduction. Tonight I realized that the reason for that was that Nephi was introducing his small plates where he was writing a second record which mirrored much of what he has written in his father’s record.
