1 Nephi 15: 31 – 36
After Nephi had talked about the torment of the wicked Laman and Lemuel asked if that torment was to be a physicAl or a spiritual torment. Nephi answers that it will be both physical and spiritual torment.

Men will be judged for what they did in this probationary state and if they die in wickedness they are cast off forever from the kingdom of God and the tree of life and things pertaining to righteousness. The kingdom of God is not filthy. There is a place of filthiness prepared for the filthy and unclean. In essence, all things will be placed with those things which they are like.

That which is good and clean will go to the kingdom of heaven%u2014a pore and spotless and undefiled place of perfection. That which is filthy will go to Hell%u2014a place of evil, filthy and unclean things.

That is the beauty of the great plan of salvation: everybody goes where they feel the most comfortable. We will all feel fairly treated because we will get what we desired and worked for.
