When Israel is promised that the second set of children will be so numerous that they cry for more space after the first children are lost, I imagine that the first children are those who have be driven, scattered, and slain throughout history – like when the majority of European Jews were killed in the Holocaust. Will the second children be Gentiles who have been adopted when the old and new covenants are reconciled or will they be members of scattered Israel – literal descendants who were not previously recognized as Jewish?
