I don’t often ask for miracles because my faith don’t require it and I prefer not to make demands on anyone, much less my Heavenly Father. That doesn’t mean I don’t that they can/will be given when requested.
Today I was realizing just how thoroughly I would be locked out of so much important data by the combination of things locked behind multifactor authentication (MFA) tired to my old phone. The only way to prevent large amounts of tedious copying was to get past the MFA tired to my Bitwarden account which required that I be able to use Authy on my old phone at least briefly. It had been 36 hours since the phone could boot up and I knew that I needed a little intervention so I prayed and asked for the Lord to grant me access. Just after turning off my computer at work for the day I saw my phone start to register that it was charging (which it hasn’t done in it’s bootlocked state). I immediately turned on my computer again as I booted up the phone. As soon as it booted up I opened Authy and gained access to the Bitwarden web application which contained a code to recover the account and disable MFA on it. The phone died (out of power) seconds after I got the code I needed. So far I have not been able to not it again but I got everything set up on the new phone thanks to those few seconds of access. All the MFA is tired to the new phone now and I have saved the access codes for Authy so that I will be able to recover it in the future without having access to a previous device.
Ask and see shall receive if ye ask not amiss.
