My whole day had been colored by the pain of my ankle. I have no indication of how I might have hurt it but it is slightly swollen and I can hardly walk on it. Thankfully I could sit for much of the day for conference and I loved many of the talk I heard. After all the anticipation among family and Ward members there were no significant announcements. There closest there was too a significant announcements was the confirmation that the pioneer temples (St George, Salt Lake, Logan, and Manti) would be renovated and rededicated in the next few years. They also announced a new temple in Tooele which might be needed before they can close and renovate the Salt Lake temple without overwhelming the 4 temples that currently surround the Salt Lake temple.
We finished the day by tidying the house before bed (after yet another family movie night). That eventually led to a conversation with Laura and Alyssa which hopefully set the foundation for Alyssa to make some necessary changes for her emotional maturity.
