As a root out of dry ground

Would I cling to Christ if I saw him in mortality or would I view him as rough or unpolished – as a root without form growing out of dry ground?

I think members of the church often expect that they would see someone like our modern prophets (except younger) who they would look to for wisdom. I think we assume that Christ never came across as hesitant out uncertain since He was perfect. I suspect he seemed a little more like a normal young man in many ways that we assume.
