Forest thing this morning I have Mariah s blessing in advance of her surgery. By the time I checked in with Laura less than 40 minutes after Mariah was shredded to go in to surgery Laura informed me that Mariah was already done and just waiting for her to wake up. Little did I know then that they would take another 4 hours before they left the hospital. Mariah didn’t react well to the anesthesia. She woke up frantic and nauseous. Not only that but what we had been told was simply an umbilical hernia turned it to be a normal hernia. Since it is at her belly button it looks as if she is growing her belly button anew like when she was a baby.
