The start of summer

With memorial day we got a taste of how the summer will begin. We went to the Memorial Day breakfast in Woods Cross and got to do the regular activities (rock climbing, visit the for trucks, see life flight) by the time we got in the car to go home we had fights (mostly with Isaac). On the way home we sang along with the music and everyone was in good spirits. Isaac took his kayak to Highland Glen Park. This was the first time he took it further than around that block and I was happy to learn that the trailer I tired for it worked smoothly for him. I spent most of that time chasing Ezra at the park while Emma and Noah played.

After we came home Laura and I took the older girls to see Avengers: End Game while Amber watched the younger kids. Unfortunately on it way home we started getting reports about how defiant Enoch was being. When we cleaned the house before bed Mariah pooped out from working with any little kids and most of the younger kids were not very helpful but I considered it a success because by the time we finished we had had some positive interactions with each of them. Enoch was even among the more helpful kids because I was the one working with him.

I think this have is a good taste if where we are right now and despite some expected hiccups I think it showed that if we will be consistent much good will come before the end of summer.
