Missionary work

I never thought about the fact that grafting in the branches of the wild olive tree is missionary work. The effect of that is too bring forth take fruit from formerly wild branches but also to inject life, vitality, and some uncertainty into the tame trunk. Keeping the balance right requires the hand of a master gardener.
