Clarity at distance

Alma seems to suggest that for those not living where the Savior would come the messages foretelling his coming were even more direct than they might have been at the time and place of His coming. The suggestion is that this was a compensating blessing for not being able to see Him during His mortal ministry. It seems likely that there might be a comparable clarity for those separated by time from the ministry of Christ. Those living near Him in His life would not have any advantage but would have to we through competing perspectives and things that seemed gray when examined closely without the aid and witness of the Holy Ghost.
