I think the ultimate example of compensatory blessings is the biggest shift from unparalleled destruction to hearing the voice of Christ explaining what had happened and inviting the people to return to Him and be healed.
It reminds me of an extreme example of what we have been invited to look for in this day of stressful pandemic response. For us I see compensatory blessings in that the family had time to decompress and try to build some more healthy patterns of interaction. I also see some compensatory blessings in the fact that I have identified two mentors that I can work with to give me professional (and to a lesser degree personal) direction.
