The record about Morianton is interesting as it calls out the discrepancy between his public works (which were just) and his private behavior (which was unjust).
The fact that public and private behaviors don’t always match is one of the reasons that we must withhold judgement regarding our fellow men. We may see good works out unrighteous works but still not know their full picture. Acknowledging that also helps us refrain from being critical of how the Lord might seem to treat them.
