I have been praying to get an offer for the job at the church that I have been interviewing for. I am hopeful that my interview today will result in a job offer relatively soon. In a related note, this morning is the first time that I have prayed specifically for Savannah to get a job this summer. Right around noon she got a call from a staffing agency she had signed up with where they offered her a position starting tomorrow at $13/hour with full time hours. We can wish for higher pay but finding a job where she can quit in August without looking like a flake is a narrow needle to thread and this fits that bill. This will provide her with a decent stash of money before school starts.
It is not lost on me that this happened right after I specifically requested it in prayer.
