I wonder why it is that Moroni felt it necessary to explain the languages used by the Nephites for their records. What do we learn by knowing that the language was one that would have no known origin to modern academics?
Is that a fact that would earn us that no 19th century escolar could truly translate the work even if it had been delivered to a learned man rather than an unlearned farmer.
