When ether promised that his people would be sorted and he would retain his kingdom also if he would repent, why did Coriantumr not repent? Was it possible because he saw himself as being already a decent person who didn’t have anything particular to repent of?
Was it because he didn’t see how him repenting would prevent the rest of his people – who had repeatedly rejected the projects – from continuing to fight (including seeking to take the kingdom from him)?
