Called to serve – in my dreams

I woke to a very surprising dream this morning – I dreamed that I was called to preside over the Brazil Area for the church. I was excited since Savannah will be serving her mission in Brazil and this would let me use the Portuguese I have been studying but I was shocked that I would be called out of nowhere to such a calling and especially considering that Brazil has many great saints who would be capable of presiding over the Area. I was concerned about my ability to select counselors in the presidency. (I would want people from that region and I don’t know any – kind of like when I was called as Elders Quorum President while I was new to the ward in Bountiful.)

It was a very interesting experience because it wasn’t like normal dreams – it felt different like few dreams I’ve ever had.
