Mosiah 7
I wonder if during those three days Ammon and his brethren conversed with the guards, or even just conversed among themselves and were overheard by the guards and said something that had the guards reporting to Limhi that these might be men that he should talk to. Ammon says that he is assured that if the king had known him he would not have imprisoned him – is that because Ammon had talked with the guards, or over heard the guards talking and knew that the people of Limhi were in need of help and wished for the people of Zerahemla to provide that help? Or it may be simply that Limhi had referenced his genealogy from Zeniff and Ammon saw that connection as a way to present his own credentials.
