This lesson is about the Temple – which is a place for the order of the Lord, specifically the order of the priesthood of God, to bless our lives.
“Clear as the sun, fair as the moon, and terrible as an army with banners.” – terrible means extreme, intense, or formidable.
4 temples that we know of prior to this dispensation (Jerusalem – rebuilt twice, Nephi, Zerahemla, and Bountiful)
5 temples planned by the early saints (only two built: Kirtland, Independence, Far West, Adam-ondi-Ahman, and Nauvoo)
129 operating temples today and another 17 announced.
