We really need to get away from our 20th century understanding of words and look at their definitions rather than their everyday connotations. Some examples: “harlot” used to refer specifically to men who were sexually perverse and “whore” simply meant someone who could be purchased (for any purpose). Today both terms are generally understood to refer simply to female prostitutes. Looking at the definition of “whore” shows that the church of the devil is composed of those who will sell themselves to do anything in the name of religion – in other words, it is followers after priestcraft. The Catholic church was often used in that way during the middle ages, but as a whole I think it is no worse now than any other denomination. Those who follow priestcraft may operate at least as easily among other sects.
