“I have a work for thee”

I can imagine how empowering it would feel to have a clear understanding of the work the Lord had in store for you. There were likely times when it seemed less than clear but men like Moses and Joseph Smith could not truly doubt that they had been called and that the Lord was mindful of them. The same is likely true of other people even outside the Lord’s church who know what they have to offer their fellow men.
