Sister Marin Darringer: Her husband left her when she had 10 kids – that’s a challenge the likes of which few people can begin to comprehend.
President DeMille: (Apparently President DeMille married Sister Darringer’s second oldest.) The principle of being there (where the Spirit is). There was an eight-year-old in the 7th ward who said “we need to add a drop off testimony every day to our lamp of Faith.”

Youth – have 5 Spiritual experiences before youth conference
If you feel worse after going to a church meeting of any kind it is almost certainly because you were spiritually not where you should have been before you even went to the meeting. (This holds true even counting many meetings which are basically unremarkable.)

To love your friends should be easy, it is a lower law than the law to love your enemies but some people are still learning to love their friends, let alone their enemies. Often they don’t even know how to identify their enemies accurately.
“Kindness is the essence of a Christlike life.”
The Lord’s standard of kindness is to withdraw if we have any feelings of unkindness toward anyone so that the Spirit of the Lord Matt be unrestrained.
Giving someone the silent treatment is a form of unkindness.
Withholding forgiveness is a form of unkindness.
Kindness is the celestial standard that we need the most at home.
