Moses’ background

I wonder why Moses did not circumcise his son. What was his experience related to circumcision? Raised in the court of Pharaoh he may not have been taught about it but he was circumcised almost certainly circumcised before he was put in his basket on the river. Had he been instructed to circumcise his son and refused people to the Lord coming to kill him for that lack? So much we don’t know.
