Converting the law of Moses

I never thought before about the fact that Shared accused Jacob of causing people to not keep the law of Moses and to convert it to the worship of some future being. Since Jacob already recorded that they kept the law of Moses despite looking forward to Christ that tells us that Shared was arguing that by looking forward to Christ their offerings were not in keeping with the performances of the law of Moses. The more common mistake throughout history is to keep the rituals while detaching them from any meaning, not imbuing them with greater meaning.
