1 or 2 weeks ago Mother assigned at scriptures that each of us would make a journal entry as if we were someone at a great event between Exodus 11 and Exodus 19 and write our feelings. Here is mine:
THE RED SEA
Last week when we crossed the Red Sea was scary. That evening as we were eating dinner the news came that the Egyptians were after us. I thought, “Moses, you are so stupid as to think you could defeat the Egyptian army,” when he said not to turn back. I was ready to personally ask Moses what to do when he lifted up his rod and the Red Sea literally had walls to hold back the water as we walked across on the dry ground. I kept thinking that any minute the water will collapse and drown us all. We all made it across and when the Egyptians were in the middle of the sea the water came back. I wish they had just stayed on the other side.
