I had wondered if news of the effect of Ammon had hardened the Lamanites among whom Aaron fell, but I forgot that we were already told that those Lamanites had already been hardened by their associations with the Amulonites and the Amelakites. What is more interesting is to think that the Amulonites would be ofter the order of Nehor considering they had broken off from the Nephites long before Nehor was born. I guess they quickly recognized a doctrine they could appreciate when it came among them with the addition of the Amalekites.
