The Lord promises through Isaiah to exalt those who have found themselves in humble circumstances. If this promise is understood then the followers of righteousness will have no cause to be jealous of those who seem to have an easy road. The promises is made to those who struggle and bear heavy burdens that their rest will be light in the end. I find this immensely comforting at this moment.
