Thinking about the symbolism of the seraphim that Isaiah saw. Wings are symbols of power and we normally think of them as having the power to move. These angels had three sets of wings which would indicate great power. They only used one set to move. Most of the power was used to cover their faces and feet. I wonder what that symbolizes. Could covering the face indicate humility? Perhaps covering their feet indicated restraint or caution.
