“Confess with your mouth”

I see that Romans 10 is the doctrinal basis for the teaching that all people need to do is confess Christ with their mouth to receive salvation. Those are the words of Paul but this is all part of the same confusing sermon where we are clearly lacking some context.

I also notice string traces of the alley of the olive tree from Zenos in Romans chapter 11.
