When the Lamanites became more righteous than the Nephites and the Nephites were rejecting the invitation to repent they were continuing to harbor accommodate toward the Lamanites but the people of the church removed in the righteousness of the Lamanites. Could we one day see a reversal where the image of righteousness in America is more associated with minorities than with white evangelicals? If so, will we be aligned enough with the spirit to rejoice in their righteousness rather than lamenting the changing spiritual landscape.
