Any hope that yesterday was a fresh start for Enoch was dashed quickly today when he failed to get on the bus and instead came home as soon as I left for work. I ended up coming home once I saw Laura’s message and took him back to school while informing him that he was not welcome in the house when he was supposed to be at school.
I worked the remainder of the day from home which turned out to be convenient because UPS delivered new phones for Laura and I so I was able to babysit them through the setup process while I was working.
Also this evening I got my first phone call from Alex (Isaac) since he went to Newport last week. I had been expecting a call on Saturday or yesterday but it came today. I don’t know if that’s because he didn’t want to call or if he had lost some privilege. Whatever the case, he sounded calm and we had a cordial conversation.
