Humans tend to define angels as heavenly, immortal beings but we also describe mortals as angels when they do things (especially extraordinary things) that are consistent with what we would expect a loving God would want to do for us. Perhaps God makes no distinction between mortal and install servants. Perhaps angels are all who are doing the work of angels such that whenever anyone—mortal or immortal—delivers an angelic message of repentance or performs an angelic act of “{doing} the work of the covenants of the Father” then they are literally an angel.

I latched on long ago to debating repentance as the office of the ministry of angels but I’m realizing that doing the work of the covenants of the Father is just as much the office of their ministry.
